On March 15, 2012 we had a classroom visitor. His name is Wayne White. Wayne was born on March 8, 1952. He is a rodeo announcer.
Wayne dressed up Christian in chaps, a cowboy hat, and boots with spurs.
Every summer Wayne goes to the Eugene Pro Rodeo. He has been the rodeo announcer for 25 years now. His daughter is the person who plays all the music. His wife is the rodeo secretary.
Wayne rode bulls for 10 years after he graduated in high school. In high school, and when he was younger, his only dream was to be a cowboy.
Wayne has his own recording studio in his house! He has two big speakers and three microphones. Also a computer with 4,000 songs on it!
At the rodeo they have a mechanical bull. They also have a clown and food, and many other things too.
When Wayne was here we went outside and Wayne brought his whip. Hallie held a flower and Wayne cut the stem clean off. He also gave us pictures. The pictures were of Wayne and he signed them. Everyone got one! Even Sean. We also got a calendar. I think Wayne is the best visitor yet! Here is why: Wayne is cool, nice, and funny!
I really enjoyed having Wayne come in! I’m sure the whole class did too!
Thank-You Wayne and Hallie! (:
