Thursday, May 17 room 22 students along with Mrs. Robertson's fifth graders climbed Mt. Pisgah. We were joined by Jason Blazar, the stewardship coordinator for Mt. Pisgah and Buford Park, Mr. C our art teacher, and 10 parent chaperones. It was a great field trip. Everyone made it to the top. More pictures can be found on the Mt. Pisgah photo page.
Recently returned from Ecudor, Creswell native Noah Stryker talked to the class Friday about studying Adelle Penguins in Antarctica. Check back for a student news story.
This year, we had over 300 students ranging from 3rd Grade to 12th Grade at the Earth Day Celebration at Garden Lake Park. Educational activities were geared toward elementary and middle school students (3rd through 7th graders). High school students assisted with the leadership of several activities. 60-80 volunteers helped out from Creswell High School, Northwest Youth Corps, the Creswell Kiwanis Club, Siuslaw Bank, City of Creswell, students’ parents, and assorted members of the community at large.
