We are raising snails in Room 22. This is our strange snail world. We planted peas, radish, beets, lettuce, and wheat to see what foods the snails would prefer. They also have a castle (thanks Owen), leaves, an old truck, a pony, a lego person, and some other random things. Check out your child's blog post about what they have learned about snails.
The Ducks volleyball team beat the Penn State Nittany Lions last night in Louisville, Kentucky.
They made it to the NCAA finals for the first time ever. On Saturday they play Texas in the Championship Game. 4pm Saturday ESPN2 My cousin, Shellsy is a setter on the team. She is number 16 Over 100 5th graders from Creslane Elementary School delivered the over 200 Chinook Salmon fry that they had raised from eggs to the Coast Fork of the Willamette River on Tuesday. We were joined by Pam Reber, the Executive Director of the Coast Fork of the Willamette Watershed Council. We were also joined by State Parks Ranger Scott Youngblood.
